Nijhuis Water Technology filter systems are used to separate solids from water. The choice as to which type of filter and which slot width should be used, depends on the type and composition of the water, e.g. trade effluent, sewage water, process water or potable water. The slot width varies from 0.25 to 15 mm.
A filter is often the first stage in a total water treatment system. The main types of filter systems are the aqua rake, the curved screen and the rotary screen.
